Steve's Special Reverse Wiring?

I'm reinstalling a Steve Special in to my Ibanez prestige soon. I'm installing the pickup in reverse but I'd like to know if it's necessary to reverse the wiring too. Also, how do I make sure I'm installing it in reverse and not the right way round? (baring in mind the pickup has no dimarzio name on it). Thanks.

Nope, you won't be changing the polarity or direction of the wind by flipping it, so just wire it standard.
