Default Tremol-no on a JP? thoughts please...

I've been playing around with the idea of getting a tremol-no for my JP. I already have the full push/pull system in it for added versatility so the tremol-no seems like it would just make the guitar even MORE versatile. My only gripe is having to leave the backplate off to be able to change the tremol-no's state (or mode or whatever). Most likely I would use it in dive mode only so I could drop D without tuning issues and also be able to hit bends etc more accurately - although the hard tail mode would be fun as well. Also, sometimes I like to add vibrato with the tremolo arm facing the rear of the guitar (out of the way), so I'd need to be able to get in there and change the mode when necessary. I guess my main issue with the system is leaving the backplate off...

Also, it looks like I'd have to remove my trem claw completely to install, but I may be wrong...

There are my thoughts... What are your thoughts and/or experiences?
